Never been to Godfather’s Pizza? Here’s the cheat sheet. We’ve got 12 specialty pizzas, five crust options, and a menu deep enough to paralyze a first-timer. This guide cuts through all of it and tells you exactly what to order based on what you actually like to eat.
Start Here: The Three Pizzas Everyone Should Try First
If you order nothing else, try these three. They’re our most popular for a reason.
The Taco Pie ($13.99–$34.50) is the pizza that put our San Antonio location on the map. Taco sauce base, seasoned beef, onions, cheddar and mozzarella, with fresh lettuce and tomatoes added after baking. It tastes like a taco on a pizza crust, and it’s the one people drive across town for. If you only try one thing, make it this. Full breakdown at our Taco Pie deep dive.
The Classic Combo ($13.99–$34.50) is the Godfather’s original — pepperoni, beef, sausage, black olives, mushrooms, onions, all on Signature Sauce with mozzarella. It’s the pizza that’s been on the menu since the beginning and it’s still one of the top sellers. If you want to taste what Godfather’s has always been, this is it.
The All-Meat Combo ($13.99–$34.50) is for the person who opens a menu and thinks “more meat.” Ham, pepperoni, bacon, beef, Italian sausage, and sausage — all six meats on one pizza. It’s absurd in the best way. Order it on Golden crust and the buttery bottom pairs perfectly with the meat overload.
Those three cover the core Godfather’s experience. Everything else on the menu is worth exploring, but these are the ones you start with. See the full top 5 list for two more crowd favorites.
Pick Your Crust (This Matters More Than You Think)
Most pizza places give you one crust, maybe two. We give you five. This is where Godfather’s gets interesting, and it’s the decision that changes the whole pizza.
Original — Thick, chewy, classic. This is the Godfather’s crust people remember from the ’80s. It holds up under heavy toppings and gives you a satisfying bite. Good for: Super Combo, Humble Pie, any pizza loaded with toppings.
Golden — Pan-baked in butter, crispy on the bottom, softer inside. This is the one that surprises people. It’s richer than Original and the crispy bottom makes every bite better. If you’re only trying one crust, make it Golden. Good for: Classic Combo, All-Meat Combo, Bacon Cheeseburger. Full comparison at our Original vs Golden guide.
Thin — Light and crispy. Less bread, more topping flavor per bite. About 25% fewer calories than Original. Good for: Veggie, Hawaiian, or when you want a lighter meal. Medium and large only.
Mozzarella Loaded — Golden crust stuffed with mozzarella cheese. It’s an upgrade on an already great crust. Medium and large only, select availability.
Gluten-Free — 10-inch only. A legitimate option if you need it, not a sad afterthought. Ask about cross-contamination if you have celiac — our kitchen isn’t a dedicated GF facility.
