Feeding a crowd in San Antonio? Here’s exactly how much pizza to order — and the best way to do it without overpaying or running short. Our Pizza Packs start at $60 and feed up to 16 people. Call (210) 750-2222 and we’ll build the order with you.
Large group orders don’t have to be a guessing game. Whether you’re feeding 10 people at a birthday party or 50 at a school event, the math is pretty simple once you know the formula. We do catering all the time on the west side — birthday parties, office lunches, church events, game days, quinceañeras. This page is here to help you order the right amount without overthinking it.
The short version: plan on 3 slices per adult, 2 slices per kid, and 8 slices per large pizza. Everything else follows from there.
How Many Pizzas Do You Need?
Use this table as your starting point. It’s based on large pizzas (8 slices each), 3 slices per adult, and assumes pizza is the main food — not a side dish. If you’ve got other food at the table, knock it down about 25%.
| Guest Count | Adults (3 slices ea.) | Kids (2 slices ea.) | Large Pizzas Needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 guests | 8 adults | 2 kids | 3–4 pizzas |
| 20 guests | 16 adults | 4 kids | 6–7 pizzas |
| 30 guests | 24 adults | 6 kids | 9–10 pizzas |
| 50 guests | 40 adults | 10 kids | 15–16 pizzas |
The rule of thumb that never fails: one large pizza per 2 adults at a meal, one large per 3 adults at a party where people are grazing. When you’re not sure, round up. Cold Godfather’s pizza the next morning is not a problem anyone complains about.
For all-kid groups — school parties, birthday sleepovers — figure 2 slices per kid and you’ll be fine. Kids fill up on the first slice and slow way down after that.
Best Deals for Large Groups
The most cost-effective way to feed a crowd is the Pizza Pack. We put together four pizzas in one order at a price that’s lower than buying them individually. Check our full pricing guide for the complete breakdown — but here’s the core of what you need to know.
| Package | What You Get | Feeds | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pizza Pack (Mediums) | Four Med 1-Topping Pizzas | 8–12 | $60.00 |
| Pizza Pack (Larges) | Four Lg 1-Topping Pizzas | 12–16 | $75.00 |
| Build Your Own Feast (Larges) | Lg Specialty + Lg 1-Topping + Side | 5–7 | $45.99 |
| Pizza and Wing Feast (Larges) | Lg Specialty + Lg 1-Topping + Full Wings | 5–7 | $55.99 |
For groups of 25 or more, stacking two Pizza Packs (Larges) gets you 8 large pizzas and feeds 24–32 people at $150. Add a Wing Feast on top and you’ve got a full spread for under $210. That’s the move for most office parties and school events.
Feeding 50? Three Large Pizza Packs (12 pizzas) plus a couple of Feasts gets you to 16–18 pizzas for right around $300. Stack a fourth Pack for bigger appetites. Every pack is stackable — there’s no ceiling on how many you can order.
Quick math: Large Pizza Pack = 4 pizzas × 8 slices = 32 slices. At 3 slices per adult, that covers about 10–11 people per pack. Two packs = 20–22 people. Three packs = 30–33 people.
Building Your Order
Pizza Packs come with 1-topping pizzas, so you get to pick four different toppings — one per pizza. That’s where the variety comes in. A good mix for a crowd: pepperoni, sausage, chicken, and a veggie option. Everyone gets something they’ll eat.
If you want to add specialty pizzas to the spread, mix in a Feast or two. The Build Your Own Feast (Larges) at $45.99 gives you one specialty + one 1-topping + a side — it’s a good anchor for the table. Check our crowd favorites to see what disappears first at group events. (Short answer: Classic Combo, Taco Pie, and All-Meat Combo. In that order.)
For crust, the Pizza Packs default to Original — but when you call, you can mix it up. We offer Original, Golden, Thin, and Mozzarella Loaded. A quick look at our crust options will tell you what each one’s like. A lot of groups do a mix: Original on a couple, Golden on one, Thin on one. Gives people options without complicating the order.
Don’t skip the sides. For a group of 20, grab two orders of Cheesesticks ($7.79–$12.24) and a couple of Potato Wedges ($6.74). It fills the table, keeps people busy while the pizza’s being cut, and it doesn’t add much to the total. For dessert, the Cinnamon Monkey Bread ($7.79) is the one that always goes — warm, pull-apart, gone in about 90 seconds at a party table.

How to Place a Large Order
The best way to handle a large order is to call us at (210) 750-2222. Tell us the head count, the date, and the time you need it. We’ll walk you through the packages and make sure you’ve got the right quantity. Takes about 5 minutes.
For most large group orders, give us 24–48 hours notice. For 50+ people or anything with a hard start time (like a school bell, a meeting that can’t move, or a quinceañera that runs on a schedule), give us 72 hours. The more lead time you give us, the smoother it goes for everyone.
Pickup is always available — we’re on 151 on the west side. Delivery is available depending on your location and order size. Call to confirm delivery to your address. For big events, pickup is usually faster and simpler if you’ve got a vehicle that can hold the boxes.
Want to think through the whole event setup — tables, timing, how to keep everything warm — our party hosting guide covers all of it. It’s practical stuff, not fluff.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the maximum number of pizzas I can order at once?
There’s no cap. We do large group orders regularly — 20, 30, even 50+ pizzas for big events. Just call us ahead of time so we can schedule production. Same-day orders for very large quantities may not always be possible, so the more notice you give us, the better.
How much advance notice do you need for a large group order?
For most group orders, 24–48 hours is enough. For 50+ people or anything with a tight schedule, give us 72 hours. We want to make sure your food comes out hot and on time — that means planning ahead on our end too.
Do you deliver large group orders?
Yes, delivery is available for large orders depending on your address and order size. Call (210) 750-2222 to confirm delivery to your location and lock in a delivery window. If you’re close to us on 151, pickup is always a solid option for big orders.
Can I mix specialty pizzas into a Pizza Pack order?
Pizza Packs are built around 1-topping pizzas, but you can absolutely add specialty pizzas to your order alongside a Pack. The easiest way is to combine a Pizza Pack with a Build Your Own Feast — you get the volume of the Pack plus one specialty pizza in the Feast. Call us and we’ll put together the exact combo that fits your budget and head count.
