This is the single most important thing you can do. When you’re placing your order online, there’s a delivery instructions field. Use it. Type your gate code in there — the exact sequence, not just the number.
Some gates have multiple entrances with different codes, or require a call-box visit number instead of a keypad code. Make that clear. “Main gate on Stone Ridge Blvd, code is 4321” is more useful than “code 4321.”

Call-In vs. Online Order for Gated Communities
