Conference food doesn’t have to be sad sandwiches and warm soda. Conference catering in San Antonio gets a serious upgrade when pizza is involved — and we’re here to make it easy. Godfather’s Pizza has fed work crews, corporate lunches, and all-day events right here on the west side. We know how to keep a room full of people fed between sessions, and we won’t break your event budget doing it.
Whether you’re hosting 20 people for a half-day seminar or 80 attendees across a full conference day, our catering packages are built to scale. Pizza holds better than most hot food, it travels well, and — most importantly — people actually eat it. You won’t be hauling half the order home at the end of the day.
Conference-Ready Packages
We’ve got two main ways to feed a conference crowd: Feasts and Pizza Packs. Both are priced for groups and easy to build out based on your headcount.
For a quick read on what fits your group size and budget, here’s how the options stack up:
| Package | What’s Included | Feeds | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build Your Own Feast (Mediums) | Med Specialty Pizza + Med 1-Topping Pizza + Side | 4–6 | $35.99 |
| Build Your Own Feast (Larges) | Lg Specialty Pizza + Lg 1-Topping Pizza + Side | 5–7 | $45.99 |
| Pizza and Wing Feast (Mediums) | Med Specialty Pizza + Med 1-Topping Pizza + Full Wings | 4–6 | $45.99 |
| Pizza and Wing Feast (Larges) | Lg Specialty Pizza + Lg 1-Topping Pizza + Full Wings | 5–7 | $55.99 |
| Pizza Pack (Mediums) | Four Med 1-Topping Pizzas | 8–12 | $60.00 |
| Pizza Pack (Larges) | Four Lg 1-Topping Pizzas | 12–16 | $75.00 |
For conferences with 30+ attendees, stacking multiple Pizza Packs is the most cost-effective route. Four large 1-topping pizzas at $75 feeds 12–16 people. Order three of those and you’ve got lunch for 45+ for $225. Add a couple trays of boneless wings and some sides and you’re set.

Quick math for a 50-person conference lunch: Four Large Pizza Packs ($300) + two Full orders of Boneless Wings ($52.98) + Cheesesticks and Garlic Bread for the tables. You’re looking at roughly $370–$400 all-in. That’s under $8 per person.
Planning Your Conference Menu
Big groups come with different tastes. That’s just how it is. The good news is that a well-planned pizza order covers most of the bases without turning into a logistics nightmare.
Here’s how we recommend building out a conference order:
Anchor with crowd-pleasers. Pepperoni and the Classic Combo (pepperoni, beef, sausage, mushrooms, onions, black olives) are safe bets for a mixed group. They disappear first, every time. Include at least half your pizzas in one of these two.
Our top picks are a good starting point if you want to know what people actually order most.
Add one or two specialty options. Chicken Bacon Ranch and BBQ Chicken are popular with people who want something a little different. The Veggie (black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes) covers anyone eating meatless — and it’s genuinely good, not just a checkbox.
Think about dietary needs. If you know ahead of time that you’ve got vegetarian or dairy-sensitive attendees, let us know when you order. We can make sure there’s clearly labeled food set aside. A salad or two — the Garden Salad at $8.99 or the Italian Chef at $10.99 — rounds out the spread without much added cost.
Round out with sides. Cheesesticks, Garlic Bread, and Potato Wedges work well as table fillers between the main pizzas. They hold temperature reasonably well and give people something to graze on while they wait for the next session to start.
If your event runs through the afternoon, wings are worth it. Boneless Wings — naked, buffalo, or BBQ — hold up well and give people a protein option beyond pizza. Full orders run $26.49. We also carry Bone-In Wings at the same price if that’s more your crowd.

Logistics: How to Pull It Off Without the Stress
Conference catering is different from ordering lunch for the office. The stakes are higher, the headcount is less predictable, and timing usually matters. Here’s how to make it go smoothly.
Order at least 48 hours out. For anything over 30 people, give us two full days. It lets us prep properly and make sure we have everything you need. Last-minute large orders can happen, but it’s not a guarantee — call us as early as you can.
Pick up or have us deliver. We offer both. If your venue is close to us on the west side, delivery is the easiest move — food arrives hot, you’re not dealing with transport. If you’re picking up, bring enough hands. Multiple boxes of pizza plus wings and sides adds up fast.
Plan for a buffet setup. Most conference organizers set food out on a table between sessions or during a lunch break. Pizza boxes stack fine and don’t need chafing dishes. If you’re going for a cleaner presentation, grab some serving trays from a party supply store — but honestly, people at conferences are used to pizza boxes on a table. It works.
Know your crust options. We offer Original, Thin, and Golden crusts. Golden is a fan favorite for large groups — it’s buttery, holds toppings well, and reheats better than Thin if you end up with leftovers. We default to Original if you don’t specify, which is always a safe choice.
And if you’re running a business lunch catering setup on a smaller scale, that page has more focused advice for under-30-person events.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I order conference catering?
For groups of 30 or more, 48 hours is the minimum. If you can give us 3–4 days, even better — it lets us plan quantities and make sure everything is ready to go at your pickup or delivery time. For very large orders (60+ people), a week out is ideal.
Can you set up a buffet-style spread for a conference?
We deliver or you pick up — setup at the venue is on your end. That said, pizza and wings are about as easy as it gets for a buffet layout. Stack the boxes, put wings and sides in serving dishes, and you’re done. No warming equipment needed if the food is eaten within 30–45 minutes of arrival.
What if some attendees have dietary restrictions?
Let us know when you order. We can note any specific requirements and make sure a Veggie pizza or other accommodations are clearly labeled. For gluten or dairy sensitivities, just ask — we’ll tell you honestly what works and what doesn’t on our menu.
Can you handle catering for a multi-day conference?
Absolutely. Some clients order for each day separately — just call each morning or place orders in advance for each date. If you’re running two or three days back-to-back, we recommend varying the pizza toppings and adding wings one day, salads the next, to keep it from feeling repetitive.
